I&#8217;ve been trying to move on for eight years&#8221;. Unemployed and still living with her parents, Emily is consumed by this court case and wants it to end. &#8220;I hope this is the last time I&#8217;ll have to come here,&#8221; she says, her voice full of emotion. Emily has traveled extensively between France and her native Canada.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"une-psychotherapie-pour-oublier\" class=\"fig-body-heading\">Psychotherapy to &#8220;forget<\/h2>\n<p class=\"fig-paragraph\">Emily had to undergo psychotherapy to &#8220;<em>forget<\/em>&#8221; that evening on April 22, 2014, about which she still has nightmares.<\/p>\n<h2>Verdict approaching<\/h2>\n<p>Her lawyers describe their client&#8217;s trauma and her difficulty in reconstructing the story. Emily keeps pointing at the two defendants, who keep refuting.
